Karaoke critics wind up behind bars

KLAMATH FALLS — Everybody's a critic, but some use beer bottles rather than keyboards, which is why the cops were called to Mollie's Lounge just north of Klamath Falls.

Police say a karaoke performance caused agitation among audience members early Tuesday, and objects such as beer bottles were heaved at the performer.

The critics drove away from the establishment on U.S. 97 before the police arrived. But officers tracked them down shortly, had a brief struggle and used a stun gun on one person.

Five people in their 20s and 30s were booked on charges such as riot, assault, resisting arrest and drunken driving.
