Blake and Julie Ironside of Central Point celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary July 19.

Blake Ironside married Julie Lee on July 19, 1986, in a country wedding at the home of the bride's grandparents. After their marriage, the couple moved to Oklahoma City in 1986. After moving back to Oregon in 1990, they spent two years in Eugene. They returned to the Rogue Valley in 1992, where they began their family.

Blake originally moved to the Rogue Valley in 1976 from Connecticut. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1983. He attended Lane Community College before entering the U.S. Air Force in 1985. He served at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, Okla. In 1990, he returned to Lane Community College. He began work as an aircraft mechanic at Erickson Air Crane in 1992 and is now a training manager.

Julie moved to Grants Pass from Southern California in 1975. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1979. She attended St. Mary's High School for two years, where she met the love of her life, and after graduating in 1986 from Medford Senior High School, she married her high school sweetheart. Julie was a stay-at-home mom until 2006, when she went to work for School District No. 6.

The Ironsides have three daughters, Hannah, Holly and Hunter, all of Central Point.
