How about some hula?

Learn about the legends and culture of the beautiful islands of Hawaii, and beat back the Southern Oregon winter, with an ongoing hula class.

Ashland's hula school Ka P'io O Ke Anuenue, which means the arc of the rainbow, teaches a class for kids 8 and older from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Agile Healing Arts, 842 A Street in Ashland. Then a beginner hula class for adults is from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m.

Classes are taught by Andrea Luchese with the guidance and support of Kumu Hula Raylene Ha'alelea Kawaiae'a from the Big Island.
