Holiday film to be shot in Medford

Rogue Valley actors both young and old could soon add a supporting role in a Christmas movie to their resume.

Producers for "By God's Grace," a faith-based film set to kick off shooting Jan. 4 in Medford, are looking for local actors to fill principal and extra roles in the film. They will hold an open casting call from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at the offices of IMD, a Medford-based talent agency, at 1257 N. Riverside Ave., No. 10. The production company is looking for youth actors ages 3 and up, and adults. Executive producer and screenwriter Debbie Preston said there are several important principal roles for men and women between the ages of 30 and 50. Several extras are needed for key scenes.

Actors wanting to be considered should bring a photo and a resume, if possible.

Already cast in the film are Preston Bailey of "Dexter," Jillian Clare of "Days of Our Lives," and Savannah McReynolds of "The Practice."
