Here we are at the third Friday again

For art fans, that means it's time for Medford's monthly art walk.

Art galleries, shops and restaurants will stay open late tonight for the downtown event, known as the Third Friday art walk.

Many of the artists demonstrate their work along the sidewalks of Bartlett and Main streets, Middleford Alley and Theater Alley. Maps highlighting the venues are available at any of the stops along the art walk.

In addition, featured artists will be on hand to show and talk about their work.

Watercolor artist Marianne Kauffman will be at Art du Jour Gallery, 320 Middleford Alley, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Art du Jour Gallery artist Norm Rossignol will demonstrate "plein aire" painting in front of Medford Interiors, next door to the gallery. Jazz duo Dan Fellman and Steve Fain will perform at the gallery during the event.

"Inspired to Print!" a series of wood block, intaglio and monotype prints by Medford resident Nancy Mullen and Aloha resident Barbara Mason, will be featured at the Rogue Gallery and Art Center, 40 S. Bartlett St. A reception for the artists will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. There will be live acoustic music by Ed Rogers and Matt Anlas.

Works by watercolor artist Lane Hall will be displayed at Facets Jewelry Studio, 24 N. Bartlett St.
