Harry & David launches monthly wine clubs

Medford gourmet food and gift company Harry & David has launched two wine-of-the-month clubs in conjunction with wine.com.

The World Wine Club and 90 Point Rated Wine Club will offer monthly wine shipments to members, much as the company's longtime Fruit-of-the-Month club has shipped fruit to members.

The World Wine Club highlights two vintages from Washington's Columbia Valley and one from the Willamette Valley.

90 Point Rated Wine Club — based on critics' scores — features three selections from the Napa-Sonoma region in Northern California.

While Rogue Valley wines didn't make the initial cut, the Harry & David is promoting several Central Point artisan cheesemaker Rogue Creamery products in its "Perfect Pearings."

The World Wine Club month-to-month price, including shipping, is $65, and the annual price is $780. The month-to-month price for the 90 Point Rated Wine Club is $105, while the annual price is $1,260.
