Grant helps bring students to OSF

Thanks to a grant of $30,000 from Wells Fargo, 13,000 students will be able to see Oregon Shakespeare Festival plays this year.

Students from 200 schools across the United States and Canada will be able to attend one or more OSF plays this year, after the financial services company donated funds to support reduced-price tickets for students at special matinee performances during the current season. The students also will attend workshops and engage in discussions with OSF actors about the plays.

This is the 14th year Wells Fargo has supported the student program, giving a total of $455,000 to help more than 220,000 students experience live theater, according to a press release.
