Get your say on the Carnegie

The city of Medford is looking for public input today on how it will use Medford's old Carnegie library.

City officials plan an open house from 1 to 6 p.m. in the historic structure at the corner of Main and Oakdale streets downtown, with formal presentations, including slide shows, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.

The building has been closed since the county opened a new Medford library on Central Avenue in 2004. A committee has been meeting to decide on whether to renovate and reopen it and who will occupy it.
