Get a glimpse of North

The new library, expanded cafeteria, revamped auditorium and an added commons area will be open to the public tonight at North Medford High School.

The Medford School District has set a 6:30 p.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house at the school at 1900 N. Keene Way Drive. A barbecue in the school's courtyard precedes the ceremony and open house.

Crews recently completed more than $33.5 million in renovations to the school, part of a 2006 bond measure that brought changes at many district schools.

North has a new library and five new classrooms, and the former library was converted into a student commons area. The cafeteria was expanded, and the auditorium got new seating and other improvements
