Felony arrests

Assault — Jordan Scott Douglas, 20, of the 400 block of Grape Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Douglas on charges of second-degree assault and first-degree criminal mischief. He was lodged Saturday in the Jackson County Jail on $107,500 bail.

Drugs — Cheryl June Carlquist, 45, of Aurora, Colo. Medford police Saturday arrested Carlquist on charges of possession of methamphetamine, driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving. She was lodged Saturday in jail and released on her own recognizance.

Assault — John Joel Boucher, 33, of the 500 block of Fourth Avenue, Gold Hill. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Saturday arrested Boucher on charges of second- and fourth-degree assault, harassment, unlawful use of a weapon and interfering with a police report. He was lodged Saturday in jail on $122,500 bail.

Drugs — Jessica Artie Clark, 36, no known address. Jackson County sheriff’s deputies Saturday arrested Clark on charges of possession of methamphetamine and contraband as well as warrants for failing to appear on heroin and misdemeanor theft charges. She was lodged Saturday in jail and released Saturday on her own recognizance.

Vehicle theft — Derek Andrew Weakley, 24, of the 700 block of Beaty Drive, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Weakley on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of heroin, failing tgo appear on a theft charges and an out-of-county warrant for failing to appear on a previous heroin charge. He was lodged Saturday in jail on $25,000 bail.

Drugs — William Robert Mitchell, 54, of the 700 block of Bennett Avenue, Medford. Medford police Friday arrested Mitchell on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and three warrants for failing to appear on charges of failing to register as sex offender. He was lodged Friday in jail on $25,000 bail.

Theft — Anthony James Winsbury, 31, of the 23600 block of Highway 62, Trail. Medford police Saturday arrested Winsbury on charges of possession of methamphetamine, furnishing false information to police, being a felon in possession of a weapon and for failing to appear on 13 previous counts of drugs, thefts, weapons and burglarly charges. He was lodged Saturday in jail on $85,000 bail.

Drugs — Ronald Carl Latour, 60, no known address. Medford police Saturday arrested Latour on charges of possession of methamphamphetamine, a warrant charging him with possession of methamphetamine and second-degree trespass. He was lodged Saturday in jail without bail.

Crime reports

Vandalism — 2100 block of Brookhurst Street, Medford. Medford police took a report at 10:46 a.m. Friday of vandalism to a church. The loss was valued at $1,000.
