Divers pull Coos Bay man's body from Four Mile Lake

Klamath County dive rescue volunteers pulled a Coos Bay man's body from Four Mile Lake at 7 p.m. Monday, 10 days after he'd last been seen, the Klamath County Sheriff's Department reported.

Divers pulled Andrew Kaufman, 61, from nearly 85 feet of water after studying numerous side-scan sonar images taken of the lake during the search for him.

Kaufman had last been seen driving a four-door silver 2011 Buick Enclave with a raft and paddles. Witnesses who had seen the vehicle said Kaufman may have taken the raft out on to the lake, the sheriff's department news release said.
