Crater's Tostenson strong at Nike Border Clash

PORTLAND — Crater's Gracie Tostenson earned 22nd out of 80 girls at the 14th annual Nike Border Clash cross country meet on Sunday.

Tostenson was 10th among Oregonians at the meet, which featured the top 40 male and female runners from Oregon and Washington.

From North Medford, Blake Spencer placed 51st and Ray Schireman grabbed 58th on the boys side. North Valley's David Cornish placed 63rd and his brother John Cornish took 66th.

Hidden Valley's Sierra Brown, who took second at the 4A state meet, placed 46th, while Stephanie Croy of Cascade Christian placed 66th and Phoenix's Nevina De Luca 73rd.
