Check out the Medford Railroad Park

Take the kids to ride on small-scale steam and diesel trains all while learning about the history of locomotives.

Medford's Railroad Park is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rides for all ages on small-scale steam and diesel trains, handcars and motorcars are available, along with exhibits of full-size and miniature trains, a historical locomotive and caboose and an antique telegraph service.

The park is home to the Southern Oregon Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society, the Rogue Valley Model Railroad Club, Southern Oregon Live Steamers, Southwest Oregon Large-Scale Trains and Morse Telegraph Club. Located at Table Rock Road and Berrydale Avenue, just a few blocks from Rogue Valley Mall, it is open the second and fourth Sunday of every month through October.
