Ceremonies highlight re-opening

EAGLE POINT — The Eagle Point Friends of the Library will sponsor two ceremonies to kick off the reopening of the library today.

The first ceremony will be at 10 a.m. when the doors officially open and is symbolic in nature. On April 7, the day the doors of the library were closed, a symbolic lock was placed on the doors. At 2 p.m., a reopening ceremony will be held inside the library. A "Grand Reopening" will be held Nov. 17.

The new branch manager will be Charlene Prinsen and two familiar faces, Virginia Brown and Pat Luthy, will be library assistants.

The Eagle Point Library will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Thursdays.
