Catch every extra drop

It's garden season, so why not learn about harvesting that stuff that falls periodically from the sky?

Jackson Soil and Water Conservation District will offer a rainwater harvest class from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the North Mountain Park Nature Center, 620 N. Mountain Ave. The cost is $20, and everyone who participates will leave with a rain barrel for collection.

Instructor Angie Boudro will teach about rainwater and its effects, how to harvest the rain and how rainwater can be used.
