C.A.T.S. seeks help with online art gallery

The Committed Alliance to Strays is looking for photographers who can help the nonprofit animal welfare group take photos of donated artwork it wants to sell online as part of a fundraising effort.

More than 100 paintings and other works by late Rogue Valley art teacher Carol Rose were on display for several weeks at a temporary gallery in downtown Medford that closed last week. Now the group would like to display photos of the art online as it searches for another temporary gallery space, but it needs people who can photograph the art.

Rose's husband, Bill Rose, donated his late wife's artwork to C.A.T.S. The couple spent many years helping rescue stray cats, and the donation was aimed at furthering that effort.

The shelter facility on Ross Lane provides medical care and adoption services for stray felines.

The Web art gallery will be posted at www.kittensandcats.org.

For information about the facility or to donate time or a space to display Rose's paintings, call 541-779-2916.
