Brooks enshrined in Oregon Sports Hall

PORTLAND — Former Oregon coach Rich Brooks headlines the latest class inducted into the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame.

Brooks led the Ducks to the Pac-10 Conference title and a Rose Bowl appearance his final season in 1994. He went on to coach the St. Louis Rams before returning to the college ranks at Kentucky.

Others enshrined into the state Hall of Fame included longtime Trail Blazers assistant coach Bucky Buckwalter, former Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs manager Tom Trebelhorn, marathoner Clive Davis, Olympic heptathlete Kelly Blair-LaBounty, Olympic wrestler Les Gutches and Linfield football's championship teams from 1982, 1984, 1986 and 2004.
