Blazers' Lillard earns co-MVP honors in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS — Damian Lillard, selected by the Portland Trail Blazers with the No. 6 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, was named co-MVP of the Las Vegas Summer League on Sunday.

The 6-foot-3 guard, who shares the honor with Memphis guard Josh Selby, averaged 26.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists in four games while helping Portland to a 4-1 record in the league.

The 22-year-old Lillard was drafted out of Weber State.
