Bear Creek Park amphitheater hosts final summer concert

Random Sound, a guitar-driven Ashland band of youth, plays rock and pop covers at 7 p.m. at the amphitheater in Bear Creek Park, at Siskiyou Boulevard and Highland Drive, Medford.

The band came together in 2007 when a group of 11-year-old Ashland boys discovered a mutual interest in playing music. They performed at two local school talent shows.

Members Nick Chouard, Spencer Tesluk, Cole Coster, and Tejas Leier Heyden kept playing together and won the 2010 Southern Oregon's Got Talent competition. In 2011 the band performed on Britt's Table Rock Stage before the Chris Isaac show, at the Shakespeare Festival's Green Show and Harry and David's annual tree lighting. Random Sound plays an eclectic mix of current and classic rock and has introduced more original material this year.

Tonight's free concert is the final installment of the State Farm Summer Concert Series. See or call 541-774-2400 for more.
