Attorneys favor Greif, McGeary for judge posts

Local attorneys once again have put Lisa Greif and Doug McGeary at the top of their list for two new Jackson County Circuit Court judge jobs.

Balloting for the Oregon State Bar poll closed Monday.

Greif collected 129 votes to challenger Joe Charter's 55 for Position 8 on the court. McGeary collected 150 votes to competitor Tim Barnack's 31 for Position 6 on the court.

This week's results mirror those of a primary-election poll in the spring, when Greif and McGeary also won.
