'Night of Healing' program Thursday will focus on life after breast cancer

KOBI-TV and Care Oregon will present "A Night of Healing: Life After Breast Cancer," from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27.

A panel of caregivers specializing in various aspects of breast cancer will take private, anonymous calls during the hour.

Specialists will respond privately to questions regarding best practices for living with and after breast cancer. Phone lines will open at 6 p.m. The number is 541-779-5555.

The panel includes Melanie Dines, a breast health/oncology nurse at Rogue Valley Medical Center; Amy Sorensen, Comfort Zone Boutique manager and a certified mastectomy fitter; Susan Wrona, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner; and Pim Solof, a physical therapist and a certified lymphedema therapist at RVMC Outpatient Rehabilitation.
